Podio Pet Peaves

This post is where I will list some of the functionality that I find make it more difficult to use.  I am hoping that posting them will help Podio with future releases.  If you have any you would like to share let me know and I will post them here.  My email address is chris.williams@readwatchcreate.com

Contacts Screen

1) Cannot find the option to merge contacts.  I found that I have two contacts that are the same person, each contact has part of the information so I do not simply want to delete one.  I would like to see the contacts side by side and be able to pick the field value to use then save.

2) From contact list if I want to choose app market or another footer link I try to scroll down but it just shows more contacts.  As I have thousands of contacts the workaround is click on a single contact then scroll to the footer.

Introduction to Podio

Oddly enough I got introduced to Podio today through a guy I met who were doing surveys on the street for RateSupermarket.ca.  We got talking about what the site was developed in and we mentioned we do CRM and they mentioned Podio.  I just started using it today but was impressed with the functionality and tie in with Project Management.

The cool thing is that they offer a free account up to 5 users which is great for us as we are currently a company of 2.

As we make more use of Podio we will be pointing out some of the pluses and minuses of the tool.  Providing tips and tricks and possibly some custom tools and apps to help others use Podio.
